Former Irish youth international Jamie Grassi is thinking about a move out of North County.

The 21 year-old who has been at the Balrothery club since his debut in 2011 told CricketEurope he is "keeping his options open" about a switch to a new club.

Grassi has been in fine form for the past three seasons scoring over 2000 runs, including 10 fifties and three centuries.

If the Leinster Lightning and Munster Reds keeper batsman does decide to move there will be no shortage of suitors, with a number of Dublin clubs reportedly keen to have the hard-hitting opener on their books.

North County announced last month that former Irish international John Mooney was returning to the club as a coach.

Eddie Richardson will be captain for the forthcoming season.
