North Down have completed the signing of New Zealander Daniel Rose for the forthcoming campaign.

The Kiwi has obtainined an Irish passport and is keen to try his luck in Ireland.

The 23 year-old is a bowling all-rounder for Wellington 'A' and Onslow Cricket Club, who has been involved in the Wellington Firebirds Wider Training Squad and has been playing for Wellington 'A' since 2016.

According on his cv on the Cricketer Exchange website, Rose has represented Wellington 'A' in all three formats where they become national T20 and one day champions.

He represented Wellington at age group levels from Wellington Under 13 to Under 17, captaining them at U17 level.

He is a regular in the Wellington Menís Premier Club Cricket competition with Onslow, who recently won the Pearce Cup.

Rose attracted interest from several clubs, both in the NCU and NW, but his preferred destination was North Down.
