29 players from the NCU region have been named in the various Irish youth squads.
This includes 19 players in the U13s and 15s, five from the U17s, while there are also five girls named in the U15s and 19s.
It's testament to the excellent strides being made by the coaching structures put in place to improve the NCU's performances at youth levels in recent years.
Gracie Keenan of North Down and Waringstown's Rebekah Evans are in the girls U15s, while the Lurgan pair of Emma McMurray and Sam Todd are joined in the 19's by Molly Mathers of Donaghcloney Mill.
The Ireland U13s squad has the Instonians trio of Ben McCausland, Daniel Henry, Michael Hollway, Adam Leckey and James West of CSNI, Bangor's Sebastian Yeates, Luka Bates of Muckamore, Adam Heasley of CIYMS and Mark Hanna of Donaghcloney Mill.
In the 15s, there are two each from Waringstown in Sam Topping and Sam Allister, CSNI with Harry Dyer and Ryan Hunter, while Instonians have Rory Ellerby and Tom Crothers. The four others are Carson McCullough (CIYMS), Finn Lutton (Templepatrick), Ashton McAtamney-Clark (Carrickfergus) and Ryan Matthews (Donaghcloney Mill).
The five successful NCU U17 representatives are the Instonians trio of Matthew Humphreys, Adam Ly and James Rose, Waringstown's Matthew Daly, and Ewan Wilson of Templepatrick.
Fixtures for the squads have yet to be finalized.
