All-rounder Ehtesham Ahmed is joining Clontarf from Balbriggan for the 2020 campaign.
The 35 year-old has been a consistent performer over the years in Leinster cricket, playing for amongst others YMCA, Terenure, and Balbriggan.
"It's time now to enjoy cricket on and off the field with long time friends who are in Tarf," he told CricketEurope after the move was confirmed.
"I'm looking forward to it and can't wait to step on the field at Castle Avenue in April representing Clontarf."
He will be a valuable asset with his medium-pace swing bowling and hard-hitting middle-order batting.
Former Irish international Andrew Poynter is the new skipper at Clontarf, taking over the reins from Eoghan Delany.
