There's not a lot of action for the Irish abroad this weekend, but hopefully there will be more to report in the weeks ahead.
Having impressed in First Grade last weekend, it was an unfortunate return to the 2nds for Neil Rock, as he went for a golden duck in the first day of Mount Lawley’s game against Willetton.
Stephen Doheny’s Randwick Petersham were beaten in their 2nd Grade game against Penrith, Doheny scoring 15 of their 284 runs, in reply to the 348 their opponents scored the previous weekend.
Graham Kennedy continues to impress in his return to Hannan’s. Batting at 3, he scored 43 runs as they completed their 50 overs of their A Grade game against Great Boulder on 325/6. In reply, they dismissed their opponents for 115 runs.
Rachel Delany (South Perth) played two T20s against Subiaco Floreat. In the first, her 9 runs from contributed to an 18 run victory. In the second, she scored 2 runs in a 7 wicket defeat.
Una Raymond-Hoey scored 29(34) in Ringwood’s 8-wicket defeat to Melbourne, and 4 runs in their 14-run victory over Dandenong.
