The NW have opted to have a 9-team Premier League structure for the 2020 season.

The league will consist of the eight teams who competed this season plus Championship winners Ardmore.

Their decision comes following last week's success appeal to the Independent Board by Ballyspallen against the decision to award the match to Glendermott in their crucial match at the end of the season.

That outcome was a real shock to the NW Union, but they have moved quickly to try and remedy the situation.

The Championship will be just six teams in 2020, with the sides playing each other three times.
