Strabane all-rounder Aaron Gillespie is off Down Under to spend the winter playing club cricket once again.

The 22 year-old has previously spent two successful seasons in Australia, and is keen for another campaign there.

His new team is Kyabram Redbacks who play in the Shepparton Association in Victoria.

"I'm just waiting for the visa at the minute so fingers crossed and hopefully Iíll have an easier process than last year where it was a struggle," Gillespie told CricketEurope.

"After being out there twice before Iíve just got attached to the way of life and just want to continue to keep going out for as long as I can as to continually play year in and out it can only help me improve as a player.

"This year Iíve signed for a different team in a different league so I donít know to much about it but with chatting to James Cole from Cricx he says itís a good league, so with his recommendation Iím looking forward again to get out there and get back playing in the sun."
