Graham Ford is reported to be among the favourites to become England Head Coach according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The Mail's cricket correspondent Paul Newman has revealed that the South African is among the short-list to replace Trevor Bayliss, who stepped down last week following the conclusion of the Ashes.

Ford has international experience with Sri Lanka, Ireland and his native South Africa, as well as county stints at Surrey and Kent.

The 58 year-old signed a contract extension just last week with Cricket Ireland, but the lure of one of the top jobs in world cricket may see him make the short trip across the Irish Sea.

Other coaches mentioned in the report include Ottis Gibson, Micky Arthur, and Mike Hesson, while Jason Gillespie, although not mentioned in the report, may also be in the frame.
