After what has been a pedestrian season, this weekend sees a whirlwind of activity as contenders and strugglers rush to complete their League programmes.

On Sunday, in what appears to be an unprecedented occurrence, three sides will each play two games on the day.
CIYMS follow up a trip to North Down with a dash to Shaw's Bridge with a back up plan to switch to Belmont if the Instonians pitch is unfit.
Muckamore have an early start at home to Instonians and a hop over the hill and down into Carrickfergus for a late afternoon appointment.
For Instonians that 10.30 start at Moylena could define their season and they will be desperate to claim the points as no one will be betting on them to upset CIYMS over 50 overs on Saturday.

CIYMS go one, or should it be two better, playing further games against Lisburn this evening (Friday) and a full 50 overs Match 1 against Instonians on Saturday.

The good news for all is that the Ireland T20 training camp will not impact on what will be a crucial round of fixtures as those involved will be available for their clubs on Saturday and Sunday with the 'camp' resuming on Monday and Tuesday.

With the weather set reasonably fair if on the chilly side the position at the top and bottom of the table should be a lot clearer come Monday morning but it should be quite a ride between now and then.
