Instonians were crowned U13 All-Ireland champions after an emphatic win over Coleraine in front of a sun-drenched crowd at Shaws Bridge.

Batting first Instonians posted 197 for 2 in their 20 overs, with a century stand between captain Tom Crothers and George Palmer.

Crothers top scored with an un unbeaten 89, while Palmer made 72.

Coleraine's reply never got going as the Instonians attack proved too strong.

Highlight of the innings was a hat-trick for off-spinner Michael Hollway.

Former Cricket Ireland President Dr Murray Power did the presentation honours, and paid tribute to all for attending and making such a special atmosphere.

Instonians have a chance of a unique treble at youth level with their U11 and U15 sides still involved in the final stages which will be decided over the coming weeks.

Their U11's are in action on Sunday in the semi-final against NW winners Bonds Glen, with Pembroke awaiting the winners.
