Gareth McKeegan hit 60 as Brigade trounce Eglinton by 9 wickets to reinforce their spot at the top of the T20 table.

The left-hander survived a confident appeal for a catch behind first ball, but survived and went on to club 11 fours and a six as he top scored, adding 79 for the first wicket with David Barr as they chased a modest 113 target.

Barr (30*) and Johnny Thompson (21*) saw Brigade home without any further loss.

Eglinton's innings never recovered from the loss of Stuart Thompson to the third ball of the innings - the first of three wickets for Rachit Gaur.

Tommy Orr (28) and Mike Erlank (27) were the main contributors for the village side in their 112, while Johnny Robinson's three wickets took his season tally to 32.
