The Jersey Cricket Board has announced the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer.
Craig Meredith has been appointed to the role to replace Chris Minty who will be retiring after 15 years in the post.
The appointment followed an open recruitment selection process involving an independent panel.
Craig is an accomplished leader who has consulted with a multitude of sporting bodies both locally & nationally, with over 20 years’ experience with a broad spectrum of athletes at all levels. Craig has worked with the Jersey Cricket Board over the last few years as a sports therapist & team manager. Craig brings progressive, inclusive and innovative strategies & will be a great asset to the future of the Jersey Cricket Board.
The Board would like to thank Chris for his years of hard work & constant support to cricket in Jersey & he leaves Jersey Cricket in a very strong position to move forward.
The Jersey Cricket Board runs an excellent development programme which continues to produce some very good players across all age groups. The Senior team recently won the European T20 Qualifiers to progress to the World T20 qualifier and the Under 19s will shortly be travelling to the Netherlands for the U19 Cricket World Cup European qualifying tournament.
