Eglinton, Fox Lodge and Bonds Glen are through to the semi-finals of the Ulster Plate, with holders Donemana having a chance this weekend to make it also as they travel to CIYMS.

Bonds Glen didn't have to take the field as CSNI scratched the match being unable to travel to the NW.

At Eglinton, the home side looked in deep trouble as they struggled as 71 for 7 before Lee Ritchie and Glen Spratt (30) added 87 in an 8th wicket stand.

Ritchie top scored with an unbeaten 86, hitting five sixes, four of which came consecutively off Hamilton Coulter.

A final total of 191 in the 30-over game looked challenging, but Nathan Burns hit 11 fours and a six in a hard-hit 97 which got them close, but his dismissal by Richard Wylie saw the home side through by eight runs.

Fox Lodge won a tight encounter at The Lawn as they chased 143 to beat Waringstown - three wickets for Jamie McIntyre and Levi Kerr.

Aaron McNamee (28*) and Richie Devine (23*) got the Ballymagorry side through with a 8th wicket stand of 51 after they had been reduced to 93 for 7.

The semi-final draw sees Fox Lodge travelling to CIYMS or Donemana, while Eglinton face Bonds Glen. Ties to be played on Sunday July 21st.
