Ireland Wolves have named a 12-man squad for their 50 over match against Zimbabwe at Eglinton.

Stuart Thompson plays on his home ground after returning from injury, while fellow senior internationals Barry McCarthy, Peter Chase, Simi Singh and James Cameron-Dow are also included.

Harry Tector skippers the side once again, with elder sibling Jack and Fionn Hand from his club YMCA also in the ranks.

The Rush trio of Stephen Doheny, Neil Rock and Nathan McGuire are named, while Graham Kennedy from Ballyspallen completes the 12-man squad.

“Harry Tector will once again captain the side and continues to impress with his hunger, ambition and leadership, said Head Coach Pete Johnston. He is developing into an athletic, dynamic and versatile all-rounder which is very exciting for Irish cricket.

“We welcome back Barry McCarthy, Stuart Thompson and Stephen Doheny to international action after returning from injury and illness. Neil Rock returns after completing his Leaving Certificate exams.

“The Zimbabwe challenge will be another timely test of our fringe and emerging internationals and all adds to the growing depth of experience we have at this level,”

The match gets underway at 10:45am on Saturday and entry is free.
