Ardmore will play Brigade, while Glendermott will take on Ballyspallen in the semi-finals of the Senior Cup.

The draw was made live on the BBC Radio Foyle lunchtime slot, with NW PRO Lawrence Moore drawing the home teams and General Manager Peter McCartney the away sides.

The Ardmore versus Brigade tie brings back memories of the 1998 decider, when after taking a substantial first innings lead, the Bleachgreen side were skittled for just 17, losing the game by four wickets.

Last season, Brigade looked down and out as they slumped to 40 for 7 in the quarter-finals at Ardmore, before they were rescued by a 138-run stand between Andy Britton (83) and Kyle Magee (64), going to win by 71 runs and eventually winning the final.

The other tie is a repeat of the 2005 final when Glendermott won the trophy for the first and to date only time.

Ballyspallen reached the final again in 2017 whilst in the Championship, going down to a Junior McBrine inspired Donemana, with the veteran left-armer claiming 7 for 13.

Both ties will be played on Sunday July 7th.
