Holders Methody ran out comfortable 107-run winners against Foyle to reach the final of the Ulster Bank Schools Cup.
It wasn't all plain sailing for the Belfast side who were reduced to 8 for 3 with wickets for Ali Doherty, Cameron Knight and a run out. It could and perhaps should have been worse as Foyle missed several chances to dismiss James Hunter.
Those lapses were to prove costly as Hunter top scored with 86, sharing a century stand with Saintfield's Adam Reid, who scored 51.
Alana Dalzell, on her Foyle 1st XI debut dismissed Hunter, but a final total of 186 for 6 was always going to be a tricky chase in 30 overs.
The Methody bowling unit never allowed the hosts to gain any momentum, as Houlihan and Rafai Yousef (3-13) took early wickets.
Only Ali Doherty (15) reached double figures as Foyle were dismissed for 79 - Matthew Humphreys (3-13) and David Humphries (2-7) also among the wickets.
Methody now await the winners of BRA v RBAI, whom they will face in the final at Muckamore on Friday.
