Adam Dennison's 87 proved crucial as Waringstown survived a real scare to beat Lisburn by just 10 runs in their rearranged Robinson Services Premier League game at Wallace Park.

On a tricky track, Dennison showed guts, guile and no shortage of skill in making 87, sharing half century stands with Lee Nelson and skipper Greg Thompson.

Richard McConkey claimed three wickets while there were two apiece for Ferguson and Reinhardt Strydom.

Strydom then top scored with 51 as Lisburn got close, but despite a valiant 20 from Michael Glass, the Lawn side closed out the win in the last over.

Gary Kidd picked up the last wicket to finish with 3-37, while overseas player Haseeb Azam took 4 for 29.
