NW Women's League continues
With last week’s fixtures all being washed out, this coming Monday night sees a return to action in the North West Women’s League.
A youthful Eglinton side will start their season this week as they entertain Bready. Having won their own opening fixture however, Jemma Rankin’s team will be loiking to build on that now that they have a majority of their key players back on the field.
Similarly, Killyclooney will also begin their season at home as they clash with Strabane. Jessica McDonald will be resuming her role as skipper, and she is more than aware that her team is due a win against the Saints.
It should prove to be an interesting contest against the equally determined Strabane, who won’t be a soft target this week.
Elsewhere, cup winners Fox Lodge will entertain Newbuildings. After a challenging match against Burndennett two weeks ago, the Foxies will be keen to show that they can successfully defend their title this time around.
With the absence of another opponent, Burndennett have a chance to put their feet up this Monday night and get ready for their match at the Park next week.
This week’s fixtures:
Eglinton v Bready
Killyclooney v Strabane
Foxlodge v Newbuildings
