Talking about the selections Knights Head Coach Simon Johnston said:

"We have a couple of new young faces in the squad of 12 for these fixtures versus the NW Warriors.
Matty Foster (19yrs) is a tall fast bowler from CSNI and someone we have been excited about for a number of years.
He has come through the Andrew White Academy and Emerging Programme and is also currently studying at Cardiff University where he has already been playing First Class cricket this year for Cardiff MCCU."

Murray Commins (22yrs) from Instonians has been training with us since he arrived in early January from South Africa.
He’s a classy left handed batter who has made the permanent move over here as he is hoping to qualify for Ireland.
Everyone in the Knights set up has been impressed with the quality of his play and work ethic since he has been here.
We wish both the boys all the very best this week."

As always a massive thanks must go to the continued support of our sponsors MTB Solicitors whose commitment and backing to the Knights is invaluable and without which much of our Knights programmes wouldn’t be possible.”

The Knights recorded a bonus point win over the Warriors in the first game of the series this year while the Warriors were victorious in the 3-day game at the end of last season.

The one name missing from the Knights line up is James Shannon who is serving a two match ban for a Level 2 offence during the first round of games at La Manga.
