The NW Warriors will be without a trio of internationals for the 50-over interpro match at Bready with William Porterfield, Stuart Thompson and Andy Britton all ruled out.

Ireland skipper Porterfield's absence is the biggest blow, with the Donemana man withdrawn by Cricket Ireland from the contest.

The left-hander is thought to be carrying an injury, but he is expected to play in this morning's second ODI against Afghanistan at Stormont.

Thompson is also injured, while Britton has work commitments.

David Scanlon returns to the 12-man squad, while there is also a recall for Brigade's David Barr.

Action at Bready on Thursday gets under way at 10:45am.

The Warriors were beaten by Northern Knights and their game with Lightning was washed out last month in Spain.
