Denmark will warm up for next month's European T20 tournament in Guernsey by playing five matches against Leinster Lightning Bolts at Trinity College Park.

Coach Jeremy Bray has a number of players absent, giving players a chance to bring themselves to his attention ahead of the crucial qualifiers.

"We are extremely grateful of the Leinster Lightning Province and General Manager Phillip Smith to agree to host a Denmark Development squad at the magnificent settings of Trinity College.

"This tour is a great build up for our big European T20 world cup qualifiers to be played in June in Guernsey. The winner of that tournament goes to the next phase of t20 world cup qualification to be played in Dubai later in the year.

"For our trip to Dublin, we are bringing a youthful side with a blend of experience as well. Due to a number of injuries and unavailabilties to first team players, this is a fantastic opportunity for this group of players to cement a spot for the all important tournament in June."
