Andy Britton and Tommy Orr starred with the bat as the NW Chairman's XI beat the Emerging Warriors in a T20 contest at Donemana.

Batting first the junior Warriors top eight batsmen all reached double figures as they posted 175 for 8.

William McClintock top scored with 45 from just 17 balls, as he hit 6 fours and 3 sixes.

Ross Allen (26) and Craig Averill (20) were also among the runs, while Conor Olphert, Ben Mills and Ali Doherty each took two wickets.

Peter Harrigan and Levi Dougherty fell cheaply in the reply, but Andy Britton thumped 7 fours and 5 sixes in a quickfire 65 from just 34 balls to get the chase back on track.

It still looked as if the Warriors would edge it, but Eglinton teenager Tommy Orr proved the hero of the day as he smashed 5 sixes and 2 fours in an unbeaten 46 from 23 balls to seal the three wicket win in the final over.
