It was a good weekend for the Adair family with Mark making his Ireland debut and Ross inspiring Holywood to victory against Woodvale in the East Belfast derby.

He top scored with 57 as Holywood made 168, with Dylan Agnew making 36. Lewis Adair picked up four wickets, and the returning Stephen Bunting three.

Adair then turned his destructive attentions to the ball, and his four-wicket haul ensured the 48-run victory. He was given excellent support by David Kennedy who also claimed four scalps.

Armagh started life back in Section One with a 67-run win at Downpatrick.

Andrew Hoey's half century helped them to 190, which was more than enough as Neil Gelston and teenager Ben Mackey both snared four wickets each.

Ballymena suffered a batting horror show at Templepatrick as they could only manage 78 - three wickets apiece for Weir and Stewart.

Overseas player Ari Smith then hit 44 as the home side eased to a seven-wicket win.

Andrew Binghams' 4 for 6 was the catalyst for an excellent six-wicket win for Donaghcloney Mill over Bangor, while in the other game Derriaghy chased down 168 to beat Cregagh by five wickets.

Daniel Poulton made an unbeaten 61, while skipper Ross Bailey hit 56 as the Queensway side triumphed despite the best efforts of Danny Cooper, who took 4 for 13.

Curtis Moorehead was the pick of the Derriaghy attack as he took four wickets, while there were two apiece for Craig Lewis and Daniel Poulton.
