Tom Stanton will skipper the Lightning Bolts in their match against Ireland U19's at Trinity - one of four Merrion players in the side.

He's joined in the starting line-up by his younger brother Sean, wicket-keeper Patrick Tice and the in-form Michael Lewis.

Rush teenager Nathan McGuire is named for the first time, while  Fionn Hand is joined by his former North County teammates Jamie Grassi and Andrew Sheridan and The Hills' Cormac McLoughlin-Gavin.

Malahide’s James Newland and Ben White of Phoenix complete the line-up.

“It’s not only an area for young up and coming cricketers but also gives players that develop through our very important club system an avenue to press for higher honours,” said Lightning Head Coach Albert van der Merwe.

“Cricket Leinster has been incredibly supportive in their vision, funding and recognition of this initiative."
