It's a return to the top flight of NCU cricket for Lisburn after a very successful promotion campaign in 2018, and the Mid-Ulster club have strengthened with two quality additions.
Overseas professional Faiz Fazal is an Indian all-rounder who has played internationally and looks a really solid choice.
He has UK experience and the 33 year-old left-hander performs everywhere he has played with both bat and ball.
Reinhardt Strydom is another left-hander and the former Irish international has the ability to provide them with some flying starts.
David Simpson, the Berry brothers, Robert Rankin, Jonathan Waite and Calum Atkinson enjoyed strong seasons last year, and with teenager Michael Glass continuing to develop, there's plenty of reasons for optimism at Wallace Park.
A Lisburn spokesperson looked forward to the new season saying: “It’s great for Lisburn to be back in the Premier League and everyone is looking forward to the challenge.
"The guys can take a lot of confidence from the success of last season with the aim to maintain our place in the Premier League for next season.
"Faiz and Reinhardt are both proven performers who will be brilliant additions to the club both on and off the field.
"We wish them well and hope they have a successful and enjoyable season"
