Leinster will launch a new Girls Academy in Cape Town, South Africa later this month.
18 girls are included in the first intake, with the 10-day programme coming under the watchful eye of a number of high quality coaches including former international Shandre Fritz.
Brían O’Rourke, the North Leinster Development Manager, praised the launch of the Academy, acknowledging the hard work of all those who had made it possible.
“I am proud that we have added this Academy to our portfolio of opportunities. Can I thank all those involved, in particular Nic Kock from the University of Western Cape for their support in making this a reality.
"Further, can I wish all those attending, not just a successful tour, but a life-changing one and to witness first-hand one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities in the world.”
