Defending champions Ireland's European U19 World Cup Qualifying fixtures have finally been confirmed, with a place at the tournament in South Africa next year at stake.

The Boys In Green are part of the six-team competition, with a round-robin to decide the golden ticket of a World Cup slot.

The Irish begin against Jersey on July 26th, followed by a clash again Denmark the following day.

Following a rest day the Irish face two matches which will likely decide their fate.

They play the hosts Netherlands on Monday July 29th, before taking on fellow favourites Scotland.

The Irish edged out the Auld enemy in a low-scoring thriller in Jersey the last time the competition was held, earning a place in New Zealand last year.

The final match is on Thursday August 1st when they play France.
