Oman were skittled today for just 24 as Scotland's bowlers wreaked havoc amongst the beleaguered hosts weak batting.

The total - the fourth lowest in List-A matches - was almost solely down to the efforts of Khawar Ali who scored 15.

The scorecard had a binary look to it, with no fewer than eight players making 0 or 1.

Seamers Ruaidhri Smith and Adrian Neill both took 4 for 7, while Ali Evans claimed 2 for 10 in the demolition job.

Scotland's chase took just 20 deliveries as Kyle Coetzer (16*) and Matty Cross (10*) completed the ten-wicket massacre.

Oman have an immediate chance of redeeming their bruised egos as the sides meet again twice more in the three-match series, on Wednesday and Friday.
