The German Cricket Federation yesterday announced the dates for their first T20Is.

They will travel to Brussels to take on Belgium in three T20Is from the 11th-12th May, and later the same month will take on Italy in a three match series from 23rd-26th May in the Netherlands at venues to be confirmed.

Preparations for a busy summer of international cricket which will also see them play the European qualification final for the 2020 T20 World Cup in Guernsey in June start this weekend with a gathering of their senior men's squad.

The German women's team are set for their biggest year ever too, as they will travel to La Manga in Spain to take part in the European women's T20 World Cup Qualifier, coming up against the Netherlands and Scotland. It will be their first official ICC run tournament.
