Kevin Martin has re-joined St Johnston as their Development Officer/Head Coach.
The former NW player made just five appearances for Ardmore during the current season due to other commitments.
"I think it was a no-brainer when Saint Johnston asked if I was interested in a Development Officer/Head Coach role," said Martin.
"I did several sessions for the club last year when I stopped playing so I was still in contact with the players and some of the committee. I really enjoyed my time at the club a few seasons ago, but moved on as I wanted to test myself in Senior One, and I felt the club was unsure of what they wanted moving forward.
"Since then the club has made real progress with their youth structures. consistently being involved in all-Ireland finals, and have made significant ground renovations which show their intent to progress.
"Hopefully I can assist with the great work that is being done and help the club continue to develop. I'm relishing the prospect of working with a diverse range of players and a forward thinking committee."
Martin hasn't ruled out a player role at the Boathole, but accepts it may be difficult to play on a regular basis.
"The club understands my coaching and family commitments, but I hope to be able to have some game time, and it will be great to see the familiar, friendly faces that made me so welcome there last time."
