It was a disappointing season for Laurelvale as they finished bottom of Section One.
David Sinton topped the batting charts, hitting 506 runs at an average of 28.11, with a highest score of 91.
There was quite a gap to the other batters of note, with Philip Weir, making 254 runs at 14.11, with a top score 50*.
Mark Thornbury hit 220 at 12.94, top score 63, while Babar Khan scored 215 at 11.32, top score 58.
On the bowling front Michael Burns captured 30 wickets at 20.03, having an economy of 4.18, with his best performance of 5-31, although he did also have the remarkable figures of 4-3 off 10 overs against Donacloney Mill.
Other bowlers of note were Mohammad Ajmal, with 28 wickets at 19.04, best performance 5-31.
Lee Edgar captured 20 wickets at 22.2, with a best performance of 3-20, while Jeff Haire managed 19 wickets at 21.94, best performance 4-17.
It wasn't all bad news though for the club as the third XI won Junior 7, to follow on from the second XI success in 2017.
Hopefully the club can bounce back in 2019 and regain a place in Section One.
