THREE Instonians teams in the Junior League are set to be relegated following starring irregularities.
It has been a crazy season for injuries at Shaw’s Bridge with up to five players at one stage unavailable for selection but none of the players was destarred as per rules (if they miss three matches) including Nathan Smith who missed more than three months of the season!
As a result, all the junior clubs have been deducted eight points and it leaves all four teams in the relegation places.
The 3rd XI have finished seventh in Junior 3 and the 4th XI in the same position in Junior 4. Both teams have completed their league programme and are relegated.
The 2nd XI are bottom of Junior 1 but have two games left while the 5th XI have only won two games and will finish bottom of Junior 8.
