THE champagne could be cracked open at Belmont this weekend if CIYMS defeat defending Robinson Services Premier League champions Waringstown at The Lawn tomorrow.

Victory would put them 12 points clear of their remaining challengers with just three games remaining and a win at home to Civil Service North on Sunday would clinch the title.

However, even if Waringstown repeat their Challenge Cup semi-final victory, CI, with a vastly superior net run rate, they would still only have to win two of their last three games.

In the North West, with Bready already crowned champions, the last weekend of the season is about who loses their place in the Premiership.

Fox Lodge start the day in the automatic relegation spot so have to beat Coleraine to put pressure on Ardmore (away to Donemana), while Eglinton have two chances to stay out of the bottom two, at the champions tomorrow and Coleraine on Sunday.
