Merrion remain in control of their own destiny at the summit of the Premier League after a full points win over Pembroke.
They ran out convincing 9-wicket winners at Angelsea Road, while in the other two games played, Leinster won the basement battle against Phoenix, while YMCA edged out The Hills in a thriller.
Three wickets apiece for Tom Stanton and Niranjan Shankar saw Pembroke restricted to 92 for 9, which proved little trouble to the rampant hosts.
Poonish Methta struck 11 boundaries in an unbeaten 56 from 47 balls, as he dominated a second wicket stand of 63 in 62 balls with John Anderson (17*) to seal the win with 7.1 overs to spare.
Saquib Bahadur took 6 for 9 to bowl Leinster to a 41-run win at home to Phoenix.
Fletcher Coutts made 48 as the visitors attempted to chase down 170, but were derailed by Bahadur's excellent display.
Monil Patel (60) and Hugh MacDonnell (53) shared a century stand as Leinster made 169 for 6.
The win sees Leinster leapfrog at the bottom.
