Fox Lodge kept up their winning ways with an 8-wicket victory over Strabane Saints
The Saints batted first and scored 49 runs. Best with the bat was Anji Porter with an unbeaten 30 while the bowling honours went to Mollie Devne with fantastic figures of (3-13)
In reply the Foxies wasted no time by gaining the total in just 8 overs allowing the home side pick up their sixth victory of the season.
Sarah Black top scored with 28 with Emma Allen pitching in with 13 runs while Chloe Deans faired best with the ball with figures of (1-10)
In other games, Killyclooney recorded their third victory of the season with a crucial win against Eglinton
Batting first Eglinton got off to a great start pushing the score to 62 in the opening ten overs due to the batting performances from Rea Moore 18 and Eva Gaston 30.
With a change in the bowling from Abbie Hall (2-12), becoming frustrated with the bowing change, Gaston was then dismissed in the twelfth over.
At this point the total was sitting at 70 overs and with overs running out, the pressure to get as many runs got to Eglinton in the end up as they went on to finish with a final total worth 81.
In reply Cody Wallace’s unbeaten 36 helped Killyclooney gain the final total in just 12 overs, allowing them another victory and now go top of the League 2 table.
