Instonians clinched the Quoile Cup with a nine-wicket win against Lisburn at Derriaghy.

Chasing 75, Michael Holloway and Will Park added 23, before Holloway was bowled by the impressive Neel Reedy (1-11) for 10.

However that was the end of success for Lisburn, as Will Park (26*) and Ben McCausland (22*) added an unbroken 52 for the second wicket to seal yet another triumph for the Shaw's Bridge club at youth level.

Charlie Gray top scored for Lisburn, making a well compiled 22, while Neel Reedy (12) and Sam Warwick (10*) also reached double figures.

The Instonians bowling unit impressed with Will Park and Ben McCausland getting two wickets, while Ben Walsh, Michael Willmott and Luke Crothers captured one apiece.

The game was an excellent advertisement for youth cricket despite the overhead conditions.

Well done to both teams and Derriaghy for being such good hosts.
