Leinster Under 15 girls were well beaten by Kent and Berkshire on the opening day of the Malvern Festival.
Grace Scrivens (63) and Phoebe Williamson (30) were in the runs as Kent posted 146 for 4, with Rebecca Gough, Rhianna Slevin and Yanshika Shukla all getting a wicket.
Gough was the only Leinster player to make a serious impression when they batted, thumping 6 fours and a six in her 53, as they finished 48-runs adrift on 98 for 8.
The Berkshire match saw Leinster skittled for just 42 in 10.1 overs, as Gwen Phillips took 4 for 10.
Leinster though did battle tenaciously taking five Berkshire wickets before they passed the modest target.
Georgia Dempsey took 3 for 10, while there was a wicket apiece for Shukla and Gough.
Leinster are back in action today (WED) when they face The Netherlands.
