Leinster Under 17s won for the second time in their series against Munster U17s at The Mardyke.
Yet again it was a powerful batting performance by Terenure's Seamus Lynch which set up the win, as he struck 8 fours and six in a top score of 74 as the visitors posted 232.
Lynch shared in a vital 8th wicket stand of 81 with Mikey O'Reilly (32) after Leinster were wobbling at 119 for 7, with Max Egan (4-46) and Matthew Brewster (2-45) amongst the wickets.
Aaron McGuire (2-18) and Mikey O'Reilly (2-22) made early inroads into the Munster batting line-up as they slumped to 46 for 5 despite 20 from Harry Broadhurst.
Seanan Jones (27), Diarmuid Carey (36) and Barry Vosloo (32) all got starts, but two wickets from JJ Walsh, plus one apiece from Harry Archer, Seamus Lynch, and Daniel Swift sealed the 83-run win.
An excellent run out for both teams, with the coaches all getting the opportunity to witness the talented youngsters in match situations.
