Local cricket and Bready will face Brigade in the final of the Faughan Valley T20 after wins last night (THURS) against Donemana and Coleraine.
Two wickets apiece for teenager Gregory McFaul and Andy Lucas restricted Donemana to just 105 for 9 - Andrew Riddles top scoring with 29.
The modest target proved no trouble for defending champions Bready who won by 8 wickets thanks to a third wicket partnership of 60 between David Rankin who made 35 not out and Ross Dougherty who hit an an unbeaten 30.
It was a closer affair at Beechgrove where Mark Simpson took 3 for 19 as Coleraine posted 122 for 6 - Graham Hume scoring 41 not out.
Brigade slumped to 99 for 7 in reply as Stephen Hutchinson took three wickets, but got over the line thanks to David Murdock's 19 not out.
The final will take place at Ballyspallen on Sunday July 22nd.
There's league action tomorrow as Strabane host Donemana, Fox Lodge entertain Ardmore, league leaders Bready take on Brigade, while Eglinton have home advantage over Coleraine.
On Sunday, the focus switches to cup action where Donemana - going for a 7th consecutive triumph play Brigade, while in the other game, Championship side Newbuildings will be hoping to cause a shock as they play Eglinton.
