There were two T20 trial matches at a cool and grey Bleachgreen as the NW look to finalise their squad ahead of the Under 15 interprovincial series in Dublin next month.

The first game saw Craig Doherty of Fox Lodge top score with 40 as his team made 125 for 3. Eglinton's Robbie Millar scored 29 while Tom Martin on his home patch made 18.

Brendan Higgins scored 47 in reply but it wasn't enough as his team fell ten short - his Eglinton team mate Ross McLaughlin taking 2 for 8.

The Blues gained revenge in the second match as Stuart Kennedy hit 63 as they posted 133 for 7.

Raymond Curry made 22 and followed it up with 3 for 10 as the Greens were dismissed for 86. James McKillop made 19 to follow up his earlier two wickets, albeit in a losing cause.

The U15 interpro series takes place from June 25-29th.
