The Emerging Knights and Lightning Bolts will face each other in two T20 clashes at Laurelvale this Sunday (11am).

This is the first of a number of matches lined up between the two teams with the NW Warriors not involved.

The teams will play each other in a further two T20 and 50 overs games as well as a two-day match across the summer.

The Bolts have picked the Phoenix trio of Ben White, and the Anders brothers, while there are two each from North County and The Hills.

It's a youthful line-up with no fewer than nine youth internationals past and present included.

The Knights squad is badly affected by no fewer than three rearranged matche sin the Premier League.

That means six players from Instonians, with Shane Getkate skippering the side. It should be an intriguing contest between what looks on paper like two evenly matched teams.

The Lightning Bolts Squad:

Ben White, Tom Anders & Rory Anders (Phoenix), Jamie Grassi & Andrew Sheridan (North County), Mark Donegan & Nicolaas Pretorius (The Hills), Oliver Gunning (YMCA), Tom Stanton (Merrion), Fiachra Tucker (Pembroke) Stephen Doheny (Rush) Gareth Delany (Leinster).
