Scotland Womenís regional series kicks off at the Grange this Sunday and the new season brings a new identity for the combatants as part of a rebranding exercise by the governing body.

The Eagles and the Stormers are the new names for Cricket Scotlandís womenís regional teams and theyíll do battle in a 50 over match, which will be followed by six T20 matches in the early part of the season.

Itís a huge summer for the women as they will be striving to qualify for the T20 World Cup, taking part in the tournament in The Netherlands in early July.

They will also be taking part in Division two of the ECB County Championship. Katie McGill skippers the Eagles, while Lorna Jack (pictured) is at the helm for Stormers.
