Jersey cricketers, Jonty Jenner and Jake Dunford, have gained places on the MCC Young Cricketers Programme for 2018.

They will be the first Jersey players to represent MCCYC and will be based at Lords from March to September as full time cricketers enjoying excellent training facilities and a full match programme.

Both Jonty and Jake will be available for all Jersey's ICC fixtures whilst on the MCCYC Programme, starting with World Cricket League 4 in Malaysia in April.

Jersey Cricket will benefit from these young players being involved with the MCCYC programme. They will be receiving high level coaching with a challenging programme of matches against good quality opposition.

The Jersey Cricket Board, supported by the Keith Dennis Foundation, has agreed to fund the 2018 programme.
