  • Out – Paddy Beverland
  • Overseas player: Andre Malan
  • Young player(s) to watch: Aaron Wright, Morgan Topping

The Stormont club didn't have the greatest of seasons last time out but have high hopes for the season ahead.

There's a new overseas player in the talented South African Andre Malan, brother of North Down professional Pieter.

Ireland Under 19 international Morgan Topping arrives from Waringstown, while on the negative side Paddy Beverland is off to pastures new.

Captain James Kennedy said: “We are looking forward to having a much more settled and stronger team this season.

"Andre and Morgan are excellent additions who will make a big difference with both bat and ball.

“Marc Ellison may as well be a new signing for us as he was only available for a few games towards the end of last season. Having trained well throughout the winter with the Knights, I have no doubt he will score heavily and consistently at the top of the order.

“The rest of the squad is full of potential match winners and although we flirted with relegation last summer I am confident that we will be a harder team to beat in 2018.”
