It's not been a great close season for Muckamore who have been hit with two high profile departures in Ryan Haire and Ifty Hussain.
They also have a new overseas player coming in so it could take a while for the Moylena club to settle into the new campaign.
Skipper Neil Gill though remains upbeat and is relishing the season ahead.
"Losing Hairso and Ifty is obviously a huge loss for us but what it does do is gives the young lads a chance to step up and show everyone that they are Premier League cricketers.
"We are lucky to have a group of young lads in there early to mid 20s who have the capability of being top cricketers. It would be great to see those young local lads step up and score 500/600 runs or take 30 wickets, they are all capable itís just about doing the business.
"We have got ourselves a proven first class cricketer in Shoaib Khan who will hopefully bring the younger lads on with his experience.
"Overall we are all looking forward to the season ahead and again the hope is to solidify our position as a Premier League team."
