Leinster players have dominated the Ireland A squad selected for next month's four-day tour of England with no fewer than ten from the region selected.

There is a first call-up for the talented Rush pair of Stephen Doheny and Neil Rock, as well as former North County player Fionn Hand who now has an Academy contract with Somerset.

Ireland U19 skipper Harry Tector is also included, with his elder brother Jack captaining the 14-man squad in matches against Bath and Gloucestershire.

The pace stocks see Clontarf's David Delany included as well as Malahide speedster Peter Chase and Merrion all-rounder Tyrone Kane.

Senior internationals Sean Terry and Lorcan Tucker are also named in Pete Johnston's squad.

Leinster's dominance is reflected in the fact that of only four Northern players selected, Shane Getkate learned most of his cricket in Leinster too.

The team start their tour on Saturday April 14th with T20 games against Bath and Gloucester Seconds, followed by 50 overs against the same opposition on the Sunday and Tuesday.
