Isobel Joyce took five wickets for Tasmania Roar at the weekend but it wasn't enough to prevent her side sliding to defeat.
The Merrion left-armer took 5 for 24 - the second best figures in this seasons Australian Women's National Cricket League.
Her heroics saw ACT dismissed for 246, but there was no fairytale ending as Tasmania failed to register their first win of the league season.
Joyce was caught for just three as Tasmania made 160 in an 86-run loss.
She did however have the consolation of picking up the Player of the Match accolade.
It was Tasmania Coach Julia Price's final game in charge and she paid tribute to the consistency of Irish international Joyce, who has been one of the stand-out players for the Roar despite their disappointing results.
