Kim Garth has made a successful start to the ongoing Women's Big Bash League in Australia.
The Pembroke all-rounder was part of the title winning Sydney Sixers in the last edition of the competition, and she's back in the pink after helping her team to a 33-run win over Hobart Hurricanes in Tasmania.
She got to the middle but didn't face a delivery as Sixers made 152 for 8 with Ellyse Perry top scoring with 65 and Dane van Niekerk making 44.
South African international followed that up by claiming 4 for 20 as the Hurricanes were restricted to 119 for 8.
Garth took 1 for 8 in two overs dismissing Hayley Matthews.
Hobart Hurricanes featured both Katelyn Fryett and Brooke Hepburn who played as overseas players in Dublin last season and also took part in the Super 3's.
