Uganda are top of the table at the African Women's World T20 Qualifier in Windhoek with three wins out of three matches as the tournament takes a day off on Monday.

They were in action today against Kenya, with the latter batting first after Uganda won the toss. Queentor Abel was the only player to reach double figures with 24 as they were bundled out for just 58. Uganda lost opener Racheal Ntono for a duck in the first over of their reply, but were largely untroubled as they chased their target in 15.4 overs to win by 4 wickets.

The second game of the day saw Zimbabwe bat first against Tanzania after captain Chipo Mugeri won the toss. It was Mugeri who then top scored for them with 57, sharing in a 75 run partnership for the second wicket with Ashley Ndiraya, the only other Zimbabwean to reach double figures in their total of 125-8.

Tanzania then found runs difficult to come by in their innings as they crawled to 53-5 from their 20 overs, losing by 72 runs.

The tournament will resume on Tuesday with Zimbabwe looking to catch Uganda - who will have a day off - when they take on Kenya in the first match of the day. Hosts Namibia will play Tanzania in the day's second match.
