Things continued to go their way as they claimed a wicket with the first delivery of the Muckamore reply and worked their way through the rest of the batting with accurate bowling.

Competition organiser David Skelton of the Derriaghy club had organised refreshments for all as a fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer Care and in his end of match remarks thanked all present for their support and generosity in the 'bucket' collection round the ground.

In presenting the Cup NCU president Peter McMorran remarked on Ireland's recent elevation to Full-Member status of the ICC and said that the opportunity for some playing tonight would be to play Test cricket for Ireland.
